Lucas & Sami's Schemes
Sami kept running into this gorgeous older guy and became smitten. She told Carrie about him, and wanted Carrie to meet him. Likewise Carrie wanted Sami to meet her new boyfriend. At the face of the 90's contest Carrie finally introduced Sami to Austin, to Sami's astonishment, Austin was he same guy she was smitten with. Sami got involved with Alan Harris, an old school chum of Lucas's. Little did she know he had sights for Carrie. After Alan had 2 failed attempts to rape Carrie, he raped Sami instead. Carrie pushed Sami to testify against Alan in court. After Alan got off free from the charges Sami blamed Carrie & vowed revenge on her. From then on Samis done everything to keep Carrie & Austin apart to claim Austin as her own.
Lucas met Carrie after she and Austin broke up when Carrie's face was splashed with acid and her father Roman threatened to throw Austin in jail. Lucas helped her get her confidence back and pushed to stay in the Face Of the 90's contest. Lucas fell for Carrie and planned to bed her. He saw that Carrie still loved Austin and did everything he could to keep them apart.Lucas realized Sami had the same goal, to break up Carrie & Austin, so they joined forces. They become the greatest friends, turned into the greatest enemies and later into lovers themselves.
Although Sami set her sights on Austin since the very beginning it was Lucas who was the original SCHEMER. By the time Sami started her schemes against Carrie & Austin, Lucas was ready to move on. Though he hated Austin, he didn't want to Carrie. After numerous of nudges from Sami to team up with her to break Austin & Carrie up so they cold have them form themselves, Lucas finally ave in and made the pact with Sami. He finally admitted that he still wanted Carrie and that he would be better for her than Austin. Sami wanted revenge on Carrie first, getting Austinfor herself wold just be the icing on the cake.

After Carrie went to see about her scar with a plastic surgeon, Lucas noticed that there was still still something between Carrie & Austin. Austin had asked Carrie to come to the cabin with him. Lucas payed Titan Model Brandee to be there before Carrie got there. Carrie caught Brandee with Austin and realized that it really was over for them. Later on in the new year Austin started to catch on and confronted Brandee about why Carrie thought there was something between him & Brandee. Lucas begged her not to tell but when Titan secretary delivered the news that she was fired in retaliation she told Carrie & Austin that Lucas had payed her to keep them apart. Austin was so furious that Shawn had to break him & Lucas up. Carrie confronted Lucas and wondered why he would want to hurt her in that way. He said that Austin wasn't good for her. She slapped him and told him to stay away from her.

Sami called Austin to come to the pub cause she was afraid about Alan following her. Austin had left a note on Carrie's door about going to the pub. Sami sneaked in and threw the note in the garbage and unpulled the phone. Carrie came home and waited for Austin. She wondered what was taking him so long. She later got tired of waiting. She decided to swing by the Pub. There she found Sami & Austin asleep at the pub. She asked Austin what he was doing there. He said didn't you get my note. When she said no they got into a fight.

She faked a fainting spell and revealed to Carrie she was pregnant... with Austin's child. It was bouqet throwing time for Carrie at her Wedding Reception. She had planned to throw it to Jennifer to give her hope that Jack would be freed from Jail.
